Statraxx ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Statraxx mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Team and Game Data: Information you enter about your teams, players, games, game events, line configurations, and statistics.
- Subscription Information: Purchase status and subscription tier, managed through RevenueCat and the respective app store. We do not store your payment card details.
- Device Information: Basic device identifiers used to maintain your session and sync data, including device type, operating system version, and app version.
- Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about how you use the App to help us improve the experience, such as feature usage frequency and session duration.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality, including team management, game tracking, and statistics.
- To sync your data across devices so you can access it from multiple locations.
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To process team sharing and invite codes.
- To manage subscriptions through our payment processor (RevenueCat).
- To generate AI-powered game analysis when requested.
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support inquiries.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a Contract: Processing necessary to provide you with the App and its features, as described in our Terms of Service.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing for our legitimate business interests, such as improving the App, preventing fraud, and ensuring security, where those interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
- Consent: Where you have given us specific consent to process your data for a particular purpose, such as AI-powered game analysis.
- Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure servers hosted in North America. We use industry-standard security measures, including:
- Encrypted passwords using bcrypt hashing.
- Secure session tokens for authentication.
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Regular security reviews and updates.
While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat: For subscription and payment processing. RevenueCat receives your app store purchase information to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI: For AI-powered game analysis. Game statistics (not personal information) may be sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and payment processing. Their respective privacy policies apply.
- Calendar Services: If you choose to import games from an external calendar URL, we access the calendar feed you provide. We do not store calendar credentials.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Team Members: Team data is shared with other users you explicitly invite to your team via invite codes.
- Service Providers: We share data with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, as described in Section 5.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion:
- Your personal account data (email, display name) will be deleted within 30 days.
- Team data you created will be retained for remaining team members until the team is deleted by the team owner.
- Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
- Data required for legal compliance may be retained as required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for coaches, team managers, and parents aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Player information entered by coaches (names, jersey numbers, positions) is managed by the coach's account and does not constitute the player creating an account. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
All Users
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Export your team and game data (via CSV and PDF reports available in the App).
- Opt out of AI-powered features.
European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland Residents (GDPR)
In addition to the rights above, you have the right to:
- Data Portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
- Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests.
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provide you with additional rights:
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information. We do not and will not sell your personal information to third parties.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.

10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including Canada and the United States, where our servers and third-party service providers are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. Where required by applicable law, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data during international transfers.
11. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and applicable regulatory authorities within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, or as otherwise required by applicable law. Notification will include the nature of the breach, the likely consequences, and the measures we have taken or propose to take to address it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the revised policy, you must stop using the App and may request deletion of your data.
